Lovely welcoming place with incredibly beautiful views of the pool. Excellent and fab location for exploring Tavira. - Set in a very pleasant area really close to the river.

Extensive and rich breakfast with food like cereals and fruit. Excellent and unbeatable location in Tavira near the Centre and the ferry to the beach, the local restaurants of which there are many to choose from and Olhao/tavira.

The location of Ap Maria Nova Lounge - Adults Friendly is particularly good and fab, close to Faro airport and the centre of Tavira. the buffet breakfast is excellent, with a large and unique selection including sausages.

The room we got, twin room, was practical.

So glad we choose it, it's excellent base for staying in Tavira.

Fairly clean, modernized hotel with efficient and active staff with an extra staff member. Particularly good and fab location in a very pleasant area right by ferry for Tavira Island which is stunning, bars and restaurants in the centre of the town and the taxi to the airport. Again, walking distance to a medieval castle.

Great location, situated in a serene and beautiful area. 🌳 It was just perfect for a peaceful getaway.

The Hotel was in a central position for walking around Tavira and for catching the boat to take you to the beaches. We found the Hotel of a very high standard, the room was spacious, very clean and well maintained. We requested a double bed and high floor and this was provided. I liked the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, lovely after a days sightseeing or a swim before breakfast. We stayed on a b&b basis, the breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice, the tables were cleared promptly and supplies were replenished promptly. The staff at the Hotel were friendly and courteous, and even supplied us with a packed breakfast on our very early morning departure! Would return to this Hotel

There were a bit hard beds, and not so great views.

Stunning and peaceful location to Old Town.

Our twin room was spacious and had been recently renovated. 🛁

We had a great, relaxed holiday. Tavira is a lovely old town and the best places to see were within walking distance of the hotel. Great, large swimming pool. Good food and hotel services. And certainly worth the price we paid.. I certainly recommend Hotel Porta Nova and would go back there.

Had a really nice stay in a beautiful town in the Algarve! 😊 Stayed in a twin room that was totally worth it - even had a balcony. Everything was pretty great overall!
